Sergeant Jeff Monreal has been employed with the City of Muskego Police Department since January of 2005. Sergeant Monreal earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from The University of Wisconsin Whitewater in 2004. He was assigned to first, second and third shift patrol and a department field training officer, prior to being promoted to Sergeant in 2015.
Sergeant Monreal has been a department tactics trainer since 2008. He serves as a Defense and Arrest Tactics (DAAT) Instructor, Firearms Instructor, Tactical Response Instructor, Taser Instructor, Specialty Impact Munitions, Chemical Munitions, Distraction Devices and OC Aerosol Instructor.
Sergeant Monreal is currently a member of the Suburban Critical Incident Team, which covers nine jurisdictions, where he responds to high risk tactical calls. He is the Chemical Munitions Coordinator and a Team Leader on the joint Tactical team.
Sergeant Monreal has attended numerous training session and seminars including: FBI Instructor Development Course, Basic SWAT, Reid Interview and Interrogations, Simunition instructor, several Tactical Seminars and other trainings.
