Leaf Collection and Yard Waste Drop-Off Sites

Leaf Collection

The City of Muskego Public Works Department will begin collection of leaves on October 23, 2023.  Do not put leaves out until October 16, 2023. Last week of leaf pickup will be the week after Thanksgiving. No leaves will be picked up after November 30th.

  • We encourage residents to rake their leaves to the roadside as soon as possible, since an early snowfall could disrupt the leaf collection program completely.
  • Please place leaves immediately BEHIND the curb or if you have no curb, they should be placed on the EDGE of the blacktop road (NOT in the ditch).
  • Leaves should NOT be bagged. ABSOLUTELY no tree branches, garden plants, or vines may be mixed with the leaves.
  • Property owners are responsible for leaf disposal after collection is completed by the City.  Please be advised there will be NO spring leaf collection.
