PUBLIC NOTICE

The City of Muskego Police Department is scheduled for an on-site assessment as part of a program to achieve accreditation by verifying it meets professional standards.

Administered by the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Accreditation Group (WILEAG), the accreditation program requires agencies to comply with state-of-the-art standards in four basic areas: policy and procedures, administration, operations, and support services. A team of assessors will arrive on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, and spend three days conducting the assessment.

As part of the on-site assessment, agency employees and members of the community are also invited to offer comments by calling (262) 679-5664 on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, between the hours of 2:00PM and 3:00PM. Comments will be taken by the WILEAG Assessment Team assigned to conduct this assessment.

Telephone comments are limited to 10 minutes and must address the agency’s ability to comply with WILEAG’s standards.
