“Once again the City of Muskego is proud to be listed as one of the 100 Safest Cities in America”, states Mayor Rick Petfalski. “Our Police department exemplifies professionalism and is directly responsible for maintaining Muskego as one of the safest cities in the nation. In addition, our citizens are very supportive of our law enforcement professionals and keep a close eye out for each other. We are proud to be the only city in the State of Wisconsin and only one of two departments listed in this report. ”, adds Mayor Petfalski. “I thank my predecessor and our Common Council, for making sure our Police department has had the tools to do their jobs in a safe, professional manner, something I plan on continuing throughout my term as Mayor.”, the Mayor continued.
100 Safest Cities Methodology
SafeWise uses FBI crime statistics and US Census population data to rank cities in each state and across the country. To add extra insight and depth to that assessment, they include demographic information and the results of our proprietary State of Safety research study.
The “safest” cities rankings are intended to highlight cities with low crime rates and ignite conversation and action around how to make all cities and communities safer. For complete methodology go to: https://www.safewise.com/blog/the-safewise-safest-cities-our-methodology/
