The Muskego Public Library is happy to announce the visit of Arthur Cola, a local author who has written a number of novels aimed at youth as well as adults. Some of his work introduces the reader to Irish folklore, so, with St. Patrick’s Day approaching, join us in welcoming Mr. Cola on Monday, March 4th at 7:30 PM. The author will introduce his fiction, talk about his travels and research, and answer questions. Books will be for sale at the event. Arthur Cola, who has 35 years of experience as an educator, currently resides with his family in Burlington, but he has traveled extensively in Europe researching cultural sites and folklore in preparation for writing his novels. Several of his novels feature Irish history and folklore, but Arthur has also written two novels, “The Stone Cutter Genius” and “The Brooch,” that take the reader to Renaissance Italy and blend historical fiction with supernatural elements.
