All community members are invited to attend the Memory Project Kick-Off to learn more about memory cafés and the Four Points Library Memory Project.
A Memory Café is a social gathering for those who are experiencing early stage dementia, mild memory loss or mild cognitive impairment, and a family member or care partner. The Café is a place to have fun, find support, and share experiences. Memory Cafés are being held monthly on Tuesdays at four public libraries in Milwaukee and Waukesha Counties.
Join us Tuesday at New Berlin Public Library as Memory Café Advocate John T. McFadden will offer perspectives on dementia friendly communities and will focus on how Memory Cafes serve to help build dementia inclusive communities.
