[ARCHIVED] MUSKEGO POLICE OFFICERS HELP MUSKEGO LIONS CLUB SPREAD CHEER DURING HOLIDAY SEASON

Police Department Executive Assistant Ann Wissing, a former Lion’s Club president and current member, came up with the “contest” a number of years ago, promising a pizza lunch for the shift that donates the most food. This year officers have stepped up in a big way, donating well over 500 nonperishable food items which will be distributed between 48 Muskego families.
“we have some really great people working at the police department, and they are always looking for ways to help members of our community in any way they can,” said Muskego Police Captain Richard Rens. “These are our neighbors and friends too, and if we can make the holiday season a little cheerier for them, it’s the least we can do.”
No word yet on which shift will get to have pizza, but by being able to help out struggling families, everyone at the police department wins.
