The Parks and Recreation Department has several parks projects that will be getting underway right after Labor Day. Please watch for signage in these parks indicating their closure dates for the improvements.
Projects include:
-Lions Park basketball court repaved
-Schmidt Park basketball court repaved
-Kurth Park bathroom entrances repaved
-Pleasant View Drive boat launch repaved
-Idle Isle Park parking lot addition paved
-Boxhorn launch paving as well as additional launch improvements
Improvements are being started after Labor Day to minimize the inconvenience of our park uses. Signage indicating when these parks will be closed for repairs will be posted at each of the parks a few days before the improvements start.
Other projects to take note of:
-The south section of Kurth Park will be graded and seeded in the fall.
-Park Arthur will have "3" youth fields completed this fall.
