The citizens and businesses in and around Muskego generously donated the money for us to have a handler, K9, and equipped squad car to start training in October 2013. Unfortunately there are ongoing costs. We also need to be in a position to one day replace some of the high cost items the program uses such as the specially equipped squad car.
The Muskego Police Department Public Safety Fund is a 501C3 non-profit organization established to fund our K9 program. Donations are tax deductible. No dollar amount is too small. We hope to sell other items such as t-shirts in the near future. Donations can also be made to the “Muskego K9 Unit” at the Muskego Police Department, W182 S8200 Racine Ave., Muskego, WI 53150.
