Juveniles

Parent / Guardian Attendance

A parent or guardian must accompany the juvenile. If no parent or guardian is in attendance, the judge will postpone the case and may issue a subpoena or warrant for the parent or guardian.

Possible Court Disposition

Court disposition may include, but is not limited to:

  • Alcohol assessment
  • Court-ordered counseling
  • Court-ordered volunteer work / community service
  • Driver’s license suspension
  • Monetary forfeitures
  • Review of school attendance

The municipal court judge has wide discretion when imposing penalties involving juveniles.
